Lee Chang was living a decent life as an illegal immigrant, holding a job that paid well enough for his daily needs. One day, however, a tragic incident occurred at the restaurant where he worked: everyone suddenly died from increased brain pressure. For some inexplicable reason, no one seemed to recognize him as someone who existed in that place. Amidst his confusion, he recalled Yu Hwi, someone he had met by chance years earlier. Although Hwi had clearly died several years ago, Chang found himself encountering someone alive and talking to him. This incident marked the beginning of a series of incomprehensible events that began to unfold in Chang's life.
