The year is 2008, a world where Earth and the Moon are connected. Twenty-four-year-old Sahan takes a job as a caretaker at the Dosner Observatory and sets off toward the Moon. But an unexpected collision leaves him stranded in space. After drifting for eleven long months, Sahan finally makes it back—only to find himself on Earth in the year 2019. As he struggles to grasp this impossible reality, a familiar face appears before him: the neighbor’s child who was born the same year Sahan turned ten, sharing his birthday. Now grown into an adult after walking through more than a decade alone, that once-small boy stands before him—and Sahan’s heart grows increasingly conflicted.
