As punishment for his crime of harming humans, Gumiho(1) 'Seori' is exiled to live alone on an island called Gokdo. Until one day, Parang, Yongsung(2) Kingdom's Crown Prince, washes up on the island with a deep wound. Swayed by his warm affection, Seori shares his body and heart. However, in order to capture the tiger demon 'Muryung', the one that plunged the kingdom into chaos, Parang has to make use of Seori, Muryung's adopted son- "All I have is this impressive body, so will you still take me?" Notes: (1) Gumiho - a nine-tailed shapeshifting fox from Korean folklore, known to be the pet of an older 'witch-like' deity who brings forth life. (2) Yongsung Kingdom - 용성국 - historically, the northeastern region of Korea.
